Aussie Bloggers Forum: t plus 12 hours
By AndrewBoyd • Dec 31st, 2007 • Category: Promoting Australian Blogs12 hours after launch, and the Aussie Bloggers Forum has:
- Total Members: 46
- Total Posts: 1351
- Total Topics: 214
- Largest number of people online ever: 275 (just before 11PM last night)
That means that at least 229 people have been in as guests without joining up
The community experiment has been a raging success. Overnight (such overnight as I had, that is) there were a lot more posts - a lot of good natured helpful advice in amongst the great “getting to know you” banter. It is a real community now.
Marketing the surprise launch was interesting and will make a great post for another day ![]()

G’day fellow ABF member - It is a great start isn’t it, especially considering the forums were not known about in advance.
Hi Sue,
thank you for your comment

It is going great - a credit to all who contributed to the start of the forum (including yourself!)
Best regards, Andrew
Thanks to all you moderators who worked so hard to create a great forum !
Thanks Jayne,
you are welcome - I think that everyone would agree that Snos, Meg, Mr Snos and Lani did most of the work, they all deserve medals
Lots of other people helped.
Best regards, Andrew
I was a little late off the mark, but I’m there now. Good work!
Hi Pickles,
thanks for the comment, and thanks for joining us
It is shaping up well - 80 members as at this morning
Best regards, Andrew
