Weaving the threads…

If you’re a regular reader of my blogs, you probably noticed that I have two related series going at once over at Facibus On Blogging - Get a real blog and the Flagship Blog Project. I’m using the birth of Intrapreneur Blog as the example for both at the moment. This is partially planned, and partially just plain serendipity - the Flagship Blog Project came along just in time to help contribute to Get a real blog. And both happened at around the same time that Blogger became less useful.

Both of these series are interwoven with a heap of posts that I’ve written before - because I am building on themes that I’ve mentioned in the past, they make perfect sneeze pages.

Some people talk about synergy as an abstract concept or as a management buzzword - all it really means is leveraging one asset through another such that you get better value from both. As bloggers, good content is our chief asset. Using one post to “sell” another (i.e. make it attractive enough to click through to) is something that we can all do.

My advice, for what it’s worth, is this: when you can weave different posting threads together in a tasteful way, do so.
