Blogger Profile: Sue and Blogging Sueblimely

Sue is another person who has commented here - it is great to receive comments and I feel a bit weird when a day goes by without a reader comment (thankfully this is a rare occurance now that I am back to a daily posting schedule). Anyhow, I digress - this isn’t about me, but about Sue
Sue’s Happy Blogging Christmas Cards are great - she has created these in Photoshop fo
r us to give one another and tagged a heap of people to start the season off. It is this sort of community stuff that Sue does well. Here’s an example card:

Other examples of her community building include a mention of the Be The Blog awards, Nominating a Blog Star, and Best Blogging Buddies. I can see why she moved from blogspot.com hosted Blogger and can also see the advantages of blogspot (I mentioned blogspot.com in both respects recently myself, but not as thoroughly as Sue).

Thank you so much for your wonderful review, Andrew. I appreciate your comments on community building as I believe this is the most important element in blogging for the great majority of bloggers; those who write for personal/social reasons.
NaBloPoMo has been time consuming - As I tend to take quite a while over my posts I will be going back to posting every other day. Otherwise I think quality will begin to suffer.
Hi Sue,
thank you for your comment, and you are most welcome
I think that the sense of belonging - and just being helpful - is what keeps a lot of people involved in blogging. They come for the fame and fortune, but stay for the people stuff.
With December looming and my joining in Maki’s blog a month challenge, I’ll probably drop back to every second day too, or mix the in-depth posts up with more light snippets.
Best regards, Andrew
