katef (Kate Fairlie) writes picklebums.

Kate writes about her life - her twin girls have just turned four so this is a big topic at the moment.

She is also into digital scrapbooking - something that I’ve never actually heard of referred to as such but a wonderful thing nevertheless and a fine thing (are blokes allowed to do it? Or do they call it visual design and pretend it isn’t digital scrapbooking?).  You can see some of Kate’s work online.

Visit katef’s blog and her NaBloPoMo homepage.

  1. oh! I only just found this today after a tip off from Tiff! Thanks so much for highlighting me!
I have only recently stumbled across all these great Aussie blogs thanks to Noblopomo. Initially my blog was all digi scrapping related (and of course guys can do it and you can call it whatever you like LOL) and all I knew was other scrap blogs, but I have since become blog addicted and my content has grown and changed and I hope to shift to my own domain early next year! I’ve been reading your site for the past few weeks and have learnt so much, so thanks heaps! And if you ever want a digi scrap lesson yell out!

  2. Hi Kate,

you are welcome, and thank you for your comment :)
I really like the idea of digital scrapbooking - apart from anything else, it is a useful way of presenting a mixture of ideas (and presentation mechanisms are always a hot topic in the information architecture community).

I will take you up on your lesson offer when time allows, thank you :)
    Best regards, Andrew
