Blog Debate: Is Blogging What We Do or Who We Are?

By AndrewBoyd • Sep 8th, 2007 • Category: Blogging tips

Welcome to the first On Blogging Australia blog debate :)

The question is this:

Is blogging what we do or who we are?

If you would like to enter:

  1. Pick a side (”blogging is what we do” or “blogging is who we are”) and write an argument for it or against the other side.
  2. Publish your argument on your blog and leave a comment here linking back to it before Friday 14 September 2007.
  3. I’ll publish a roundup post soon after that reviews all the posts and summarises the arguments.
  4. We’ll run a poll to decide the winning side.

What do you think? Are you in? :)

  2. No one wants to start, I guess. I would advise you to personally invite 10 bloggers by email to have their reply on this matter and ask them publish it in their blogs (add the links here) - then, others will follow suit.

  3. Hi Thiru,

    thank you for your comment.

I appreciate your suggestion - it may indeed come to this. I’ll let it slide another day or two prior to issuing invites.

    Best regards, Andrew
