Blog Debate: Is Blogging What We Do or Who We Are?
By AndrewBoyd • Sep 8th, 2007 • Category: Blogging tipsWelcome to the first On Blogging Australia blog debate
The question is this:
Is blogging what we do or who we are?
If you would like to enter:
- Pick a side (”blogging is what we do” or “blogging is who we are”) and write an argument for it or against the other side.
- Publish your argument on your blog and leave a comment here linking back to it before Friday 14 September 2007.
- I’ll publish a roundup post soon after that reviews all the posts and summarises the arguments.
- We’ll run a poll to decide the winning side.
What do you think? Are you in? ![]()

No one wants to start, I guess. I would advise you to personally invite 10 bloggers by email to have their reply on this matter and ask them publish it in their blogs (add the links here) - then, others will follow suit.
Hi Thiru,
thank you for your comment.
I appreciate your suggestion - it may indeed come to this. I’ll let it slide another day or two prior to issuing invites.
Best regards, Andrew
