Want to meet a great bunch of bloggers AND improve your Technorati rank?

Group writing contests come and go, and you will meet a lot of like souls if you keep going.

An alternative is to join a community - and if you are an Australian blogger, then the BUMPzee Aussie Blogs Community is a really good option. Chances are, if you are reading this, you know about the community already - but just in case you do not, here’s how. Apart from joining a wonderful group of people, you will be able share (and receive) a lot of link love.

This is a multi-part process but one that should only take 10 minutes or so out of your day. The procedure is:

  1. Go to BUMPzee and get an account.
  2. Submit your blog to BUMPzee via the Add Blog link (top toolbar on the main page).
  3. Go to the BUMPzee Aussie Blogs Community and join the community.
  4. When you are a member, add your blog to the BUMPzee Aussie Blogs Community through the smaller “add yours” link. You will get a message when your blog has been added to the community (which may take a little while if the moderator Meg is offline).

And that is it! Post to the discussion forums, follow your reader BUMPzee widget photos to their own blogs, and add the community list to your sidebar. Easy.

It’s all about enlightened self interest. Join the community, share the link love, talk about blogging, and you’ll profit by it - and not just your Technorati rank!
